Drew has been home for three weeks and he is doing great! He is still pretty much in control of his own schedule and we love tending to his every need:) Last week Drew had his eye check up and it went really well. His right eye has completely recovered and his left eye is looking good but hasn't fully matured. Drew has another check-up in two weeks to see how his left eye is doing. We just keep praying that he will not have any major long term difficulties with his vision, so far Drew has been very fortunate. Drew has been working really hard on keeping his head up. He loves laying on his tummy and doing his push ups. He also love his swing and loves to be held almost every minute he is awake, which we love too. He has brought us so much joy, we still get excited to feed him and bathe him and play with him as if it was our first day at home with him. He has given us a more meaningful purpose to our lives and we look forward to watching him grow.

Jenn...I am so happy that things are going good for you guys and your little baby! I just talked to Megan a little this morning and she said you were doing good, and your baby too, so i decided to look on here and see if you had any new posts...and you did. Anyway, hope it keeps going well! Hopefully we can see you guys at Megan's wedding in June!
Finally..Holy! I am so glad you finally decided to post again - just kidding. Drew is looking so big and strong! I am still so happy for you two that he's home.
Jenn, You dont know me but I went to high school with your husband, my name is Angela Mitchell Duncan. I happened upon your blog through common friends. Your story is amazing I have never heard anything like it. Congrats on bringing him home!! I sat here for about 30 minutes reading about your life in the past months (sorry to intrude), you two are amazing to go through that with such a great outlook! Thank you for your inspiring story. I am more thankful for everything I have, your story puts in perspective all of the trivial things I worry about. In reality only few thing in this life really matter! Thank you!
yeah!!! i am so glad that everything is going so well!! you guys really deserve it
I'm so glad to see that he is continuing to do well!! He looks great!
Dear Drew and Eric and Jenn, I just want you to know how hard it has been for me and the other great nursing staff. We miss Drew so much but we are so greatful that he is doing so good at home. Both Eric and Jenn are truly wonderful parents and Drew is lucky to have such a loving Mom and Dad to take care of him. I miss holding him in the middle of the night and watching him sleep and dream about getting out of the NICU. We miss you Drew. Jerold
Little Drew is so dang cute! Get used to him running the show- it never changes, but they are so worth all the work! You guys are such great parents. Drew is so lucky to have you as his mom and dad!

Oh my goodness he is so cute!! I can't believe how big he is getting! I am so glad that being home together as a family is treating you all so well! Oh by the way, Dustin says that you guys need to put some happy songs on your blog :) He has a hard time listening to the song I guess!
Hey Jenn! I am so glad everything has been going well! My mom would always update me on the progress of everything and I kept thinking I needed to call you! Then I saw your blog off of laurens blog. My husband and I read your whole blog together and just couldn't believe all that you have endured. What a little miracle! Sorry I have been such a bad friend! Its hard to keep in touch when you live thousands of miles away, but thats no excuse! Please check out my blog and leave a comment with your e-mail address. I would love to get in touch with you! Miss you tons!
