Drew is coming home today!!! He has been off of oxygen now for almost three days. Last night Drew had to pass his car seat test which required him to sit in his car seat for an hour and a half without any heart or breathing problems. He did pretty good, he just got a little bored then fussy and then he went to sleep. We spent last night with drew in our own little hotel type room without any monitors. It was wonderful to spend all night with our son, Daddy got a little sleep but Mommy stayed awake for most of the night keeping watch and cuddling with our little guy:) We are excited to become real parents, this has been an incredible experience. We cannot express our gratitude enough to God and to those who cared for Drew, what a miracle he is.

YEA!!! I can't believe the little one is coming home! That is SO exciting. And off of his oxygen--- that is so great. That really is nice you won't have to deal with the at-home oxygen thing. We sure love you guys and are so amazed at what little Drew has overcome.
Yay!!!! I can't believe it! I am soooo happy for you guys. You have always been "real" parents, but now you get to enjoy him every second of the day. I am sure you won't miss the daily trek to IMC! You guys are so awesome, and so is Drew. Congrats!!!!

I found your blog through a roundabout way, but I am so happy I came upon it! I have been so curious about your little Drew since I saw you guys in the NICU when our little Brody was there in January. I have been checking your blog occasionally since then and wanted to tell you both that your story has been so incredible to read about. You both are the most amazing people for enduring what you have and being so strong for your little angel baby. He is the CUTEST baby ever! I about died when I saw him in his tiny, little Jazz outfit! :) Congratulations on taking him home! What a miracle. You deserve nothing but the best. Thank you so much for sharing Drew's story... It has been so powerful and uplifting.

Yay for Drew!! How exciting that you guys finally get to bring your little guy home!! By the way, don't say that you aren't "Real" parents...you guys are probably the best parents I've ever met!
